Trudy Rubin is the foreign affairs columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer, and has reported on the Middle East for over thirty years. She has made five trips to Iraq in the last two years, and recently returned from covering the Iraqi elections. Her 2004 book, Willful Blindness: The Bush Administration and Iraq, is a compilation of her columns from 2002 to 2004 in which she critically assesses the path to war, Bush Administration policy in Iraq, and the perilous consequences.
