Trudy Rubin has covered the Middle East for over 30 years. She has reported from Jerusalem, Beirut, and Baghdad from where she has recently returned. She is currently a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Her 2004 book, Willful Blindness: The Bush Administration and Iraq, is a compilation of her columns from 2002 to 2004 in which she critically assesses the path to war, Bush Administration policy in Iraq, and the perilous consequences.
