Salim Tamari is the Director of the
Institute of Jerusalem Studies and a Professor in the Department
of Sociology and Anthropology at Birzeit University near Ramallah.
He is editor of the Jerusalem Quarterly File and Majallat
ad-Dirasat al-Filastiniyya. He is also Senior Researcher for
the Refugee Working Group?Technical Committees and a delegate to
(and former coordinator of) the Multi?lateral Peace Negotiations
Palestinian Team.

and Gender (2003) and author of Rediscovering Palestine:

recent publications include Scenes from Daily Life: The View
from Nablus and Be Careful What You Say on Campus.
